Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has a theory on who is responsible for Marcus Rashford's bombshell interview where he expressed interest in a "new challenge".
Rashford has now been left out of Amorim's matchday for three games in a row and recent reports suggest the 27-year-old may well have played his final game for his boyhood club.
It started with both Rashford and Garnacho being omitted for the Manchester derby win over rivals City, but only the Argentina international has returned to the fold for defeats to Spurs and Bournemouth.
After the snub, Rashford gave an interview with Henry Winter where he admitted he is "ready for a new challenge and the next steps". The England international has since been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with the likes of Barcelona and PSG said to be interested.

Amorim has discussed his decision to continually leave Rashford out but in a new chat with Sky Sports, he hinted at people around Rashford having a negative impact on him and being the driving force behind the recent headline-making interview.
"Of course it is a hard situation, but I understand that this kind of player, they have a lot of people around them making some choices that are sometimes not the first idea from the player," Amorim said.
"So I understand, I can separate things. I am always here for helping Marcus as another player and they have to do what they have to do. I say they chose to do that interview, because it’s not just Marcus, and I understand that."

While some United fans have washed their hands of Rashford, having unveiled a banner which said, "Excuses, ta ra Marcus" in the away end at Spurs, Amorim hasn't given up on the forward and is focused on improving him.
"As a coach, I am just focused on the performance, the way he trains," he added.
"And the rest, I think it is better for me and the club to deal with that when the time comes.
"At the moment, I am just focused on improving Marcus. We need a lot in this moment the talented guys like Marcus and I forget for now the interview. I just see what I see on the pitch."
Rashford reportedly available for transfer
A new report from the Manchester Evening News claims United have made Rashford available for transfer in the upcoming January transfer window, but the player himself is believed to be unhappy over being unaware of the developments' regarding his situation.
