Five players Man Utd could sign to replace Marcus Rashford including Bundesliga star

Marcus Rashford's future at Manchester United has come into question after a disappointing season.

Here's a list of five players Manchester United could sign this summer to potentially replace out of favour Marcus Rashford.

The United winger has been heavily linked with a big-money move away from Old Trafford in the summer after struggling for form this season.

Fans have heavily criticised Rashford's performances across the campaign on social media with the star calling out the abuse several times.

The England international scored 17 times in the Premier League last season but has only managed seven goals so far this campaign.

We could finally be seeing the end of Rashford's time at his boyhood club. If he did depart, who could United buy to replace him?

Donyell Malen

United with Borussia Dortmund star Malen ever since Jadon Sancho's bust-up with manager Erik Ten Hag and his subsequent loan return to Germany.

Malen was once a youth player at Arsenal before he moved to PSV, and eventually Dortmund, in search of regular game time.

He's rated highly by many clubs and has been a key figure in his side's run to the Champions League semi-final.

With Dortmund reportedly keen on keeping Sancho, could a swap deal be on the cards?

Pedro Neto

Another potential option is Wolves star Neto. He has been sensational so far this season registering 11 assists and three goals in 23 games.

However, he can be a big injury risk having appeared in just 31 league games between summer 2021 and 2023.

Given his form and the fact he plays for another Premier League club, his price tag will likely be significant.

Kingsley Coman

Bayern Munich star Coman grabbed the headlines earlier this season when his goal knocked United out of Europe and saw them finish bottom of their Champions League group.

Ahead of that game he spoke to Sky Sports and didn't rule out a future move to the Premier League.

Could he be the answer to United's problems?

Michael Olise

Whilst he plays on the right, signing Palace's star man Olise would allow Alejandro Garnacho to play in his preferred position on the left if Rashford departs.

He's been strongly linked with a move to United ever since Ratcliffe's investment with a rumoured release clause in his contract.

The 22-year-old has struggled with injuries this season, but has impressed when fit being directly involved in 11 goals in 15 appearances.

Nico Williams

Athletic Bilbao star Williams is highly-rated in Spain and several Premier League clubs have shown interest in signing him.

With 20 goal contributions in 32 games this season it's easy to see why. He has bags of talent for a 21-year-old and could potentially be a cheaper option than those listed above.

United's interest in him has cooled, but he's a player they should look at signing and could complete a talented front three for the future.
