Paul Scholes couldn't believe the request he received from a PAOK player after their 2-0 loss to Manchester United on Thursday night.
United finally got their first win of the season in the Europa League thanks to a brace from Amad Diallo in the second half. The Ivory Coast winger headed home a Bruno Fernandes cross to open the scoring and then curled in a superb second to maintain Ruud van Nistelrooy's unbeaten run as interim boss.
The Red Devils beat a PAOK team who had plenty of familiar faces, including former Wolves defender Jonny Otto, Chelsea flops Tiemoue Bakayoko and Baba Rahman, as well as ex United youngster Shola Shoretire.
But also in the side was 31-year-old midfielder Magomed Ozdoev, who asked Scholes for an autograph on behalf of his father. The Russian spotted the 49-year-old pitchside at Old Trafford and took off his shirt that he had just worn against United.

Scholes, who was working as a pundit for TNT Sports, happily agreed to autograph the jersey and signed it to 'Mustafa'.
Asked about being a man in demand by presenter Jules Breach, Scholes said: "He did yeah! I wasn't sure he remembered me, it was such a long time ago. It was an autograph for his dad and I obliged. I think I spelt it right, as well!".
A video of the exchange was posted online by TNT Sports and accrued more than 300,000 views.

Scholes spent his entire career at United and won 11 Premier League titles before retiring in 2013 and the former England international is widely respected by the footballing world as one of the most gifted midfielders ever to play the game.
Spain and Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta and was delighted to receive a signed shirt from him earlier this year.
On Instagram, he wrote: "Thank you so much to my friends for getting me a signed and personally dedicated shirt from a player I have always greatly admired, Scholes! Thank you Paul.”
Scholes responded, writing: "That’s the closest my shirt has ever been to @AndresIniesta8. What a footballer."
