Mason Mount missed an absolute sitter from just yards out in Manchester United's friendly against RC Lens.
The England international signed for United from Chelsea for a fee of £55 million and made his first appearance at Old Trafford in a red shirt on Saturday.
But Mount had a moment to forget in the first half against the Ligue One side when he spurned a golden opportunity for his first goal.
United put together a stunning move, with Bruno Fernandes sending Alejandro Garnacho clear with a wondrous defence-splitting pass.

The Argentine unselfishly laid it on a plate for Mount, who basically had an open goal to aim at from just six yards out.
But Mount fluffed his lines horrendously, kicking the ball against his own foot and letting the opposition off the hook.

United's new No.7 saw the funny side and was pictured laughing despite it being a moment he will not want to watch back anytime soon.
United looked incredibly threatening going forward, particularly down the left flank as the lively Garnacho caused all sorts of problems.

But Erik ten Hag's men were up against a side who finished just point behind title winners Paris Saint-Germain in the French top flight.
And the visitors took a surprise lead in the 23rd minute when Florian Sotoca caught goalkeeper Andre Onana off his line.
Sotoca received the ball yards into United's half after a slack pass from Diogo Dalot and without even taking a touch, chipped the Cameroonian in exquisite fashion.

The former Inter Milan goalkeeper loves to take up a high starting position in order to get on the ball and snuff out counter attacks.
But we saw the danger of his approach as Sotoca took advantage in a big way. Onana raced back and dived to make the save but ended up falling into his net.

Prior to the game, United confirmed the £72 million capture of Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta and he walked out at the Theatre of Dreams for the first time.
The Dane becomes United's third signing of the summer.
