Marouane Fellaini has earned an obscene amount of cash since leaving Manchester United for China in 2019.

The Belgian spent six seasons at Old Trafford where he racked up 119 performances before packing his bags for Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng.

He earned the label of a super sub under Jose Mourinho at United, often coming off the bench to score important goals for the Red Devils in the past.

And standing at 6ft 4 with a now-iconic afro, you couldn't miss him. However, the majority of us haven't heard too much about the 36-year-old since he left the Premier League.

But it seems Fellaini has done incredibly well for himself since making the move to China, pocketing an eye-watering amount of money.

According to Salary Sport, the former Everton midfielder earns an an extraordinary £18,824,000-per-year, equating to £75,296,000 over four years.

Therefore, Fellaini takes home over £350,000 a week - similar to the likes of Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland.

Speaking to Telefoot on his decision to leave Manchester United for China in 2019, he said: "I think it was the right time to leave.

"It had been 10-and-a-half years since I arrived in England. I had beautiful seasons. Now I wanted a new challenge and a new adventure."

Fellaini won the Chinese Super League in just his second season in Asia, scoring an impressive 22 goals in 53 matches during the campaign.

Former Chelsea midfielder Oscar also plies his trade in the division for Shanghai Port.
