Virgil van Dijk delivered a ruthless response when asked about his international colleague's blunder.
But Man United fans called out the Liverpool star following his role in Germany's second goal.
Goldbridge has also weighed in on the drama regarding De Ligt's error, branding the backlash against the defender as a 'disgrace'.

He didn't hold back as he urged Man United fans to 'wake up fast' as he referenced Lisandro Martinez and Rasmus Hojlund.
On X, Goldbridge wrote: "Disgrace! The scrutiny on De Ligt is off the scales! Don't even see that Germany goal as a mistake tbh. United fans need to wake up fast to what this actually is. A determination from external forces to destroy a player before he's even had a chance."
In another post, he added: "Did it with Martinez, Rasmus, and now doing it again. If we're going to let new signings be destroyed from day one we'll never find our way back. Enough is Enough."

Speaking after the Netherlands' 2-2 draw with Germany, Ronald Koeman defended his decision to take De Ligt off at the break.
"Of course I would rather have kept Matthijs de Ligt on the pitch. It just looks like he is now in a period where all his mistakes are being punished," he said.
"I gave him a new chance today, but eventually protected him by taking him off."
De Ligt joined Man United from Bayern Munich in a transfer worth £42.5 million during the summer transfer window.
