The exact amount Manchester United could receive for Marcus Rashford has been revealed ahead of his loan move to Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old is closing in on a move to Villa Park on what would be an initial loan deal until the end of the season, with United inserting an option to buy clause as part of the transfer.
Rashford hasn't played for United since December 12 after being dropped from the matchday squad by manager Ruben Amorim for the Manchester derby.

A day after that clash, Rashford told journalist Henry Winter of his belief that he was 'ready for a new challenge'.
Throughout much of January, it appeared unclear as to where the England forward's future lied, with Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund among those to be reportedly exploring loan moves.
But he is now set to stay in the Premier League, with Villa swooping for the forward on Friday evening at the personal request of manager Unai Emery.

He will replace Jhon Duran, whom Villa sold to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr for £75 million earlier this week.
Now, the exact amount of money United could receive for Rashford by the summer has been revealed.
According to The Athletic, Villa's option to buy is worth £40 million and they can trigger it any time before an as yet uncertain deadline in the summer transfer window.
They are also willing to pay 75 per cent of Rashford's wage of around £350,000-per-week, talkSPORT have claimed. That fee, it is said, could reach 90 per cent depending on performance bonuses.

United would therefore be saving an additional £5.5 million in wage payments for the 27-year-old if the base percentage is covered, meaning the exact value of the deal could be worth over £45 million to Ruben Amorim's side.
The salary savings could allow Amorim's side to bring in an additional player on loan before the deadline, with United having been linked with a loan move for Chelsea's Christopher Nkunku.
They were also one of several Premier League clubs chasing the signing of Bayern Munich's Mathys Tel as what could have been a replacement for Rashford.
However, The Athletic report that Tel has decided to stay at the Allianz Arena until the summer after rejecting a contract offer to join Tottenham on a permanent basis.
