Jamie Carragher was quick to remind Gary Neville about his optimistic pre-season prediction after Manchester United suffered a 3-0 defeat to Spurs on Sunday.
Back in mid-August, both Carragher and Neville were asked to make their annual Premier League predictions on the much-anticipated return of Monday Night Football.
Carragher picked reigning champions Manchester City to defend their title, before selecting Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool to make up the top four.

Neville, meanwhile, decided to pick Mikel Arteta's Arsenal as his eventual champions, with Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea following behind.
So far, Arsenal and Manchester City are unbeaten in their opening six league games, whilst United have struggled for form, picking up just two wins.
Things went from bad to worse for United on Sunday evening as they fell to a humiliating 3-0 defeat against Spurs.

And after the full-time whistle, Carragher decided to rub salt into the wounds by retweeting a graphic that shows Neville's prediction about United finishing third.
On Monday morning, he also commented on a video of Neville criticising United by saying: "You put them third at the start of the season!!"
Back in August, Neville claimed that Erik ten Hag was a manager to watch.

Speaking at the time, he said: "A lot of people thought Ten Hag was gone but he is still there, renewed hope, squad stronger, feeling better but now he needs to deliver."
He added: "I do think they’ll get into the top four if they stay clear of injuries.”
More than a month later and Neville said United's application to applying Ten Hag's plans is "abysmal" as goals from Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke earned Spurs a well-deserved 3-0 win.
"Are the players not buying into what Erik ten Hag is telling them to do? Or do they not believe in it?" Neville began.

"One thing that I can say is that their application towards doing it was abysmal, and the most worrying thing was on Wednesday night, when Eriksen said he felt that FC Twente wanted it more, they were more hungry.
"That is a player that is in the middle of that dressing room who I would suggest is very well respected by the rest of his colleagues and by the manager and he's questioning the motivation and the attitude of his players."
Neville added: "We've seen it here today, they really didn't put the effort in in the first half."
