In his post-match analysis of Manchester United vs. Tottenham, Gary Neville brought up Christian Eriksen's "worrying" comments after Wednesday's Europa League tie against FC Twente.
Neville described United's performance against Spurs as “absolutely disgusting" on Sunday as Erik ten Hag's side produced their most lacklustre performance of the season so far.
After an incredible 70-yard run from Micky van de Ven opened up United's defence, Brennan Johnson opened the scoring for the visitors, who would go on to control possession for large spells.

Dejan Kulusevski doubled their lead shortly after the restart before Dominic Solanke netted his third goal of the season to seal a comfortable three points.
After the full-time whistle, a far-from-impressed Neville ripped into his former side.
“I said just before the game that there can be no excuses. A mountain of cash has been spent and invested. The first half was absolutely woeful, as bad as it gets," he told Sky Sports.
“The pressure is going to get ramped up this week – it is going to be brutal. It has been a bad day for Ten Hag, really bad. It’s one of the worst performances I have seen under Ten Hag – and that is saying something. It is really bad.”

Speaking on The Gary Neville Podcast, the former Manchester United defender also brought up Christian Eriksen's comments after United stumbled to a 1-1 draw against FC Twente on Wednesday night.
Eriksen delivered a brutally honest post-match interview after being asked to reflect on their performance against the Eredivisie outfit.
"We are mostly disappointed as a team," he told TNT Sports. "In the end, it was far from good enough. It was just said in the dressing room... it looked like they wanted it more than us and that can't be right.
"Personally, you score a goal and you think it's going to be the match winner but it didn't end up that way."

Eriksen added: "I think everyone is looking at themselves. We are professional footballers. We know it can't happen. We didn't lose but it feels like a loss. That's something that can't happen when you're at home."
Neville also reflected on those comments – and he was strong in his assessment of Eriksen's actions.
"The most worrying thing was, and maybe I didn’t pay enough attention to it on Wednesday night, was Eriksen’s comments around the fact that he felt that FC Twente wanted it more, that they were more hungry," he said.

"That is a player that is in the middle of that dressing room I would suggest is very well respected by the rest of his colleagues and very well-respected by the manager.
"He is an experienced player who has played hundreds and hundreds of games at the highest level. And he is questioning the motivation and the attitude of his players.”
