A fourth added: "Nemcik for Rosenborg with an absolutely disgraceful tackle on Casemiro. Friendly or not, that’s a red card. Disgusting."
A fifth person said: "For a pre-season game, that is a diabolical challenge on Casemiro. Nemcik gets away with a yellow because of the circumstances..."
A sixth said: "Nemcik horrible challenge on Casemiro.. would have been a redcard if not a friendly... sees a yellow instead."
Ten Hag will be hoping for a big improvement from his side this term. The Dutchman was handed a new contract after winning the FA Cup, but few would have considered last season's performances as convincing.
