Manchester United could make a hefty amount if academy product Anthony Elanga joins Newcastle United on deadline day.
It emerged on Friday afternoon that Newcastle were 'exploring' a big-money move for the Nottingham Forest winger, who notched five goals and nine assists in 39 games last season.
Eddie Howe is believed to be a big fan of Elanga and even attempted to bring the Sweden international to St James' Park at the end of June.

In fact, Sky reporter Keith Downie claims the Magpies have already held talks with Forest over a potential deal worth over £35 million.
Elanga joined Forest from boyhood club Manchester United last summer for an initial £15 million, according to The Mirror, who suggest the fee could rise to £20 million over the next few years based on performances.
United are also said to have also inserted a sell-on clause in the deal, meaning they could earn a decent sum if the winger moves on.

Forest, however, are understood to be in 'no rush' to let Elanga leave, report The Mail, who mention the club's lack of time to bring in a suitable replacement.
Elanga, a standout performer for Nottingham Forest last season, recently opened up being "grateful" to be at the City Ground.
Speaking to BBC East Midlands Today, he said: "I've always said I'm not the finished article, I can always improve and get better.
"This is why I'm grateful to be here at Nottingham Forest because it gives me the opportunity to grow as a player and a person. I have fantastic players and staff to help me grow and now it is up to me.

"It is me against me and the only person that will stop me from going where I want to go is myself. If I can continue to listen and work hard then the sky is the limit."
He added: "I can get faster, I can score more goals, I can set up more goals," Elanga added.
"I've got to remember last season was my first season playing over 36 games. I feel like I needed that so I can then build up for the new season knowing I'm ready and can play 36 games a season.

"I feel more experienced and more involved. This season will be different. I've taken what I've learned from last season and tweaked my game a bit more so I can be even better this season."
