Manchester United are reportedly ready to launch their pursuit of a player despite them already joining a new club this month.
With just three days left of the January transfer window, United have been uncharacteristically quiet, with their focus seemingly on the potential sales of Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho.
A deal for top target Patrick Dorgu is expected to be announced in the coming days, after the Denmark international's medical had to be postponed due to delays over the paperwork foe the transfer.

And United may have already decided on their next move, as they prepare to launch a massive move for a player who recently completed a transfer to another club this month.
Having impressed during his season long loan from Paris Saint-Germain during the 2023/24 campaign Netherlands international Xavi Simons completed a permanent move to Bundesliga club Red Bull Leipzig on Thursday.
The 21-year-old managed a total of eight goals and11 assists during his loan spell with the German side, leading to him returning on a temporary loan at the start of the season, which has now been made permanent for a reported fee of €81million (£67.8m)

However, this will reportedly not deter several Premier League clubs, who will supposedly look to sign the talented youngster when the summer transfer window opens in June.
Confirming the news, on his YouTube channel, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed: “Xavi Simons is a Red Bull Leipzig player, 100 percent, forget about PSG.
“But the contract is until June 2027, short contract, two-and-a-half years. What does it mean? In the summer, save this video, remember the name Xavi Simons, will be one to watch.
“Premier League and LaLiga clubs ready to attack, especially Premier League because many clubs in England are keeping a close eye on the situation of Xavi Simons. Top, top clubs."

Romano added that he was reluctant to name the clubs interested in signing the Dutchman, and would wait until after the January window closes to do so.
But, Christian Falk didn't share Romano's hesitation, as he took to X to confirm that United are one of the clubs monitoring Simons' situation.
If the Red Devils plan to make a move for the midfielder, then it is believed they will have to meet Leipzig's estimated value of €70m/€80m to pry him away from the German club two years early.

However, United aren't the only Premier League sides in the race for Simons, as Falk confirmed that both Liverpool and Manchester City are also interested.
