Jamie Carragher revealed the text Gary Neville sent him when Jurgen Klopp announced he would be leaving Liverpool.
In January, Klopp stunned the football world by announcing he was to depart Liverpool at the end of the season after five years at the club.
The German has been a transformative figure on Merseyside, guiding the club to a spate of silverware, including the Champions League in 2019 and Liverpool's first Premier League title in 30 years the following season.

The news of Klopp’s imminent departure will be a bitter pill to swallow for the Liverpool faithful, especially given the Reds are at the Premier League summit and still challenging in the three cup competitions.
Manchester United fans however will be relieved to see the German depart their bitter rivals.
Former United captain Neville could not resist taking a dig at his Sky Sports colleague and ex-Reds defender Carragher as soon as the news emerged.

"I wake up and I get the Klopp news," Carragher said on the Stick to Football podcast, brought to you by Sky Bet. "[Neville] then texted me saying he's in the same place skiing. I was like oh no. Can I read you what he sent me?
"I am in Courchevel. Your manager is f***ing off and that's you lot f***ed for another 30 years."
Neville however, also wanted to pay tribute to Klopp and his impact across his time on Merseyside.

"On a serious note, I think he is the most exceptional manager and someone who has not just been brilliant for Liverpool but unbelievable for the Premier League," Neville added. "He's connected Liverpool, the city, the fans, the team, the spirit, everything has been unbelievable for seven or eight years.
"I remember the early years when you saw it grow and you thought 'Oh no, this is proper this' and he's created that there. How the hell in the world do you even begin to think about replacing him?"
