Gary Neville has revealed the one transfer mistake Sir Alex Ferguson will never live down during his time at Old Trafford.
Sir Alex is widely regarded as the greatest manager of all time for what he accomplished in the Premier League for Man Utd with the Scott winning 13 league titles, five FA Cups, and two Champions League's.
Since Ferguson departed from United, the club have gone from being the dominant force in English football to finishing 8th last season under Erik ten Hag.

One of the main reasons Sir Alex was able to dominate in the way that he did was down to his excellent transfer strategy. Players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Roy Keane, and more were all bought at a young age and became key figures in United's winning squads.
However, even Sir Alex made mistakes when it came to transfers and his former player, Gary Neville, has revealed the one decision that completely shocked the dressing room.
Speaking on The Overlap brought to you by Sky Bet, Neville revealed the exit of Jaap Stam was particularly memorable during his time at United.

"Jaap [Stam] was the biggest one where I felt at the time, it was questionable, and the boss has said it was his biggest mistake, hasn't he, in his book?," Neville explained.
"That was the one where I look at that transfer and think, 'He's the best centre-back in the world. No one's beating him. No one's beating Jaap Stam!' He was just a powerhouse. Me and Denis [Law] could go forward, or me and Phil [Neville], whoever it was, and you'd leave Jaap at the back with anyone.
"He was a bit like [Virgil] van Dijk at his peak two or three years ago, where he'd just take the ball off ya! You can't get past him. A player looks to run at Jaap Stam, and they're just refusing it. They're passing it! That was the one I felt wasn't quite right," Neville concluded.
