England legend David Beckham snubbed his former Manchester United teammates when he was asked to name the best player he has ever played with.
Throughout his highly-decorated 21 year career, Beckham played alongside some of the very best players of all time at some of the biggest teams in the world.
After starting his career with United, Beckham then joined La Liga giants Real Madrid and later played for at AC Milan, LA Galaxy and Paris Saint Germain.

And having played alongside the likes of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Zinedine Zidane, Beckham was asked to name the greatest player he ever played alongside.
While appearing on an episode of Gary Neville’s The Overlap, Beckham was asked by his former United team mate and close friend to name just one player as the best player he has played with.
He replied: “The best player I've ever played with, apart from you, Zidane.”

Beckham played alongside French legend Zidane for three years at Real Madrid, playing 102 matches together and winning the Supercopa de Espana during their time at the Bernabeu.
Just one year before Beckham left to join LA Galaxy, Zidane retired from professional football after a decorated 17-year career.
Writing about the moment on an Instagram post in 2020, Beckham showed his love for his former teammate.

He wrote: “Very very lucky to have played against Zizou but one of the biggest moments in my career is lining up with him as a team mate.. This moment in his last game 14 years ago today wasn’t just emotional for him and us but the whole world .. Merci my friend.”
By naming Zidane as the best player he has played with, Beckham subsequently snubbed all of his former United team mates, despite enjoying his most successful years at Old Trafford.
With United, the English international won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the Champions League during his under legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Beckham did however name United legend Sir Bobby Charlton as the one player from the past he would have liked to play with, saying: “He was my dad's hero, it's why my middle name's Robert. So I'd loved to have played with Sir Bobby.”
