Cristiano Ronaldo’s future is still uncertain as he nears the end of his Al Nassr contract.
Ronaldo, 39, joined the Saudi Pro League outfit from Manchester United after falling out with then-manager Erik ten Hag in November 2022.
Since his highly anticipated arrival in the Middle East, he has continued to score goals, netting 11 times in 13 Saudi Pro League matches this season, taking his overall tally at the club to 75 strikes in 84 appearances.
His goals have helped Al Nassr to third place in the league after 14 games. However, his future at the club remains uncertain.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move to the MLS, where long-time rival Lionel Messi currently plays for David Beckham-owned Inter Miami.
The Portuguese has continued to perform at both club and international level with Portugal.
However, last summer a close friend and former United teammate of Ronaldo’s, Alex Telles, left the club to return to his native Brazil with Botafogo.
Telles, 32, previously explained how Ronaldo had a huge influence on him joining Al Nassr in 2023.

“Cristiano Ronaldo was a very important factor in me coming here,” he told Sapo Desporto in February 2024.
“We exchanged messages beforehand, my agent was involved, but obviously, being the legend Cristiano Ronaldo, the greatness that he is, that we’ve known since Manchester United, clearly made it easier for me to come.
“We talked a lot, he told me what the club was like and that he was looking forward to me coming.

"I’m happy to have an athlete and human being like him… with all his dedication to getting me here. So all the effort I put in for myself is also for him, for Al-Nassr and for all the players who are here.”
And despite his advancing years, Ronaldo ‘has no plans’ to hang up his boots anytime soon according to reports from Spanish outlet Marca.
While TeamTalk reports that the Portuguese is “not rushing” to make a final decision about his future.
The outlet claims that sources have informed them that Ronaldo has three options available to him.

One is a possible contract extension at Al Nassr, with the second being retirement at the end of the season.
A third option is the idea of retirement following the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
