Casemiro has finally broken his silence about Jamie Carragher's brutal assessment of his performances at Manchester United.
Since joining United in a deal worth £70m back in the summer of 2022, Casemiro has produced some of the best and some of the worst performances of his storied career.
Perhaps his most memorable poor performance came at the end of last season when United lost 4-0 to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, leading to Sky Sports pundit Carragher to brutally call out Casemiro after the game.

And now, the Brazilian has finally responded to those criticising his time at United, including Carragher.
Speaking about his form after his impressive performance in United's 3-0 win over Leicester City, Casemiro said: "Well, everyone can see can't they? I only had the Liverpool game, right?
"The whole team was not good in that game, or this season.

"I think it's been a good season for me. I want to continue growing, I want to continue helping my teammates and the coach, helping Manchester United grow and, well, everyone knows what my job is."
Earlier this season, Casemiro was at fault for the first two goals scored by long-term rivals Liverpool during their 3-0 win at Old Trafford, as he allowed Luis Diaz to score a first-half brace.
The mistakes were reminiscent of Casemiro's performance against Palace last season where, while playing at centre-back alongside Jonny Evans, Casemiro was robbed of the ball just outside the area before Michael Olise swept home the fourth goal for the hosts.
Speaking on Sky Sports the match, Carragher said: "I think Casemiro, I am being deadly serious, should know himself tonight as an experienced player that he should only have another three games at the top level, the next two league games and the cup final, and thinking, 'I need to go to the MLS or Saudi'.

"I am being deadly serious. His agent, or the people around him, need to tell him it has to stop.
"We are watching one of the greats in modern times, played in one of the best midfields of all time - him holding Kroos on Modric on either side - who could easily go up against the Barcelona midfield we all know and loved.
"I am nowhere near the level of what that man has achieved, but I always remember something when I retired.

"It was a saying I always remember as a footballer - 'Leave the football before the football leaves you'."
