Bruno Fernandes has been sent a warning from two former Premier League stars about a potential future transfer to the Saudi Pro League.
Reports claimed earlier this month that clubs from Saudi Arabia were interested in signing the Manchester United captain and his club team-mate Casemiro.
Any interest in Fernandes, though, appears to be irrelevant this summer, with the Portugal star writing in The Players' Tribune that he did not want to leave United.

He said: "I love to step out at Old Trafford more than anything in the world. I don't want to leave. This has always been my ultimate dream.
"I just want my expectations to fit with the expectations of the club. If you go talk to any fan, they will tell you the same thing. We want to compete for the league. We want to be playing Champions League football. We want to be in cup finals.
"That is the standard. That is what I want. I just want to keep fighting. I want to be here. My family wants to be here."

Since the article was published, United have won the FA Cup and secured Europa League football for next season.
While Fernandes will not be leaving Old Trafford this summer, a move to the Gulf state could potentially still happen in the years to come.
But he may need to adhere to a 'warning' from two former Premier League stars.
The Daily Mail reported that in January, former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was keen to leave Saudi Pro League club Al Ettifaq and make a return to Europe.

It was claimed that he and his family had failed to settle in the area. He moved to Ajax later that month.
Another former Liverpool star who moved to Saudi Arabia was Roberto Firmino, who joined Al Ahli as a free agent after his Anfield contract expired in the summer of 2023.
He opened his Saudi Pro League account with a hat-trick on league debut, but then scored just three league goals in his next 25 appearances.

His poor form even led to speculation that he may return to the Premier League with relegation-threatened Sheffield United in January.
The speculation led to nothing, with the Blades signing former Blackburn striker Ben Brereton Diaz on loan from Villarreal instead before getting relegated.
It was claimed, however, that Firmino was considering quitting the Saudi Pro League and making a return to Europe, but he has so far stayed put.

He ended the season in strong form, scoring three goals in six games as Al Ahli finished in third position behind Al Nassr and champions Al Hilal. The club's fans will hope that is a sign of things to come next season - if the 32-year-old remains.
It was claimed that he was considering quitting the league in January and returning to Europe.
