Jose Mourinho’s touchline reaction speaks volumes after Andre Onana pulls off ‘save of the season’ for Man Utd vs Fenerbahce

Andre Onana pulled off an outrageous double save to deny Fenerbahce in the Europa League and Jose Mourinho was stunned.

Jose Mourinho had an incredible reaction to Andre Onana's insane double save for Manchester United against Fenerbahce.

The Red Devils went 1-0 up in the Europa League clash through Christian Eriksen's fine finish after 15 minutes but had to weather the storm late in the half.

But they had their goalkeeper to thank for keeping the score level at half-time in Istanbul after Onana pulled off consecutive saves to thwart Youssef En-Nesyri as he arrived in the box.

The Moroccan got on the end of a stunning cross from the left and produced an incredibly powerful header down into the ground But Onana was equal to it and sprawled across his line to keep out his effort.

He wasn't done there though. Fenerbahce kept the attack alive with Dusan Tadic and he fed the ball back to En-Nesyri, who forced Onana into action yet again. This time the former Inter Milan shotstopper tipped the ball over the bar at close range.

It was a superb pair of saves and Mourinho was utterly stunned. Cameras picked up the Portuguese placing his hands on his head in disbelief before he was seen animatedly dancing around while laughing.

Eyebrows were raised ahead of the match when Noussair Mazraoui was picked as a No.10 for the game due to Bruno Fernandes' suspension, with fans utterly confused at decision from Erik ten Hag.

The Dutchman explained his reasoning before the game, telling TNT Sports that he has played the Moroccan in the role before for Ajax.

"We bring Nous Mazraoui in the 10 position, I know from Ajax that sometimes I played him there," he told TNT Sports.

"As a full-back in our system he's playing in the half spaces, so he is capable of doing this job. He can bring good pressing."

United legend Paul Scholes wasn't quite having it but Mazraoui did have a hand in the opener, making a smart run and playing in Joshua Zirkzee, who laid the ball off for Eriksen to strike.
