The reason why Alejandro Garnacho was omitted from Ruben Amorim's squad for Manchester United's derby clash against Manchester City has reportedly been revealed.
Last month, Amorim made huge calls to omit both Garnacho and Marcus Rashford from his matchday squad for United's match against City.
At the time, the Portuguese said: "We try to evaluate everything training performance, game performances, engagement with teammates, push their teammates up. Everything is on the line when we analyse and try to choose the players. It is my selection. Simple."
Since then, Rashford's future at the club has been plunged into darkness after stating he was ready for a new challenge.

Meanwhile, Garnacho has made a return to the United squad, featuring in recent matches against the likes of Bournemouth, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United.
Why was Alejandro Garnacho dropped by Ruben Amorim?
Now, it has been claimed that Garnacho was dropped by Amorim over a disciplinary issue.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the 20-year-old Argentine was dropped for 'a show of dissent towards Amorim'.

The report stated: "Alejandro Garnacho was axed from the Manchester United squad over a show of dissent towards head coach Ruben Amorim, it has emerged.
"Mail Sport understands the Argentina winger appeared to turn his back on Amorim and walk away while the United boss was giving him instructions on the touchline before he came on against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League three days before the derby."
It has been suggested that Garnacho's representatives 'denied that he was being disrespectful and put it down to a misunderstanding' when contacted by the Daily Mail. Meanwhile, United declined to comment on the matter.
