Manchester City could lose yet another key players as an exodus following the departure of manager Pep Guardiola appears to be on the cards.

Following their 2-1 loss to Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium on the final day of the Premier League season, Manchester City legend Guardiola officially called time on his career with the club.

Throughout his 10 year tenure, the Catalan manager led City to 17 major trophies, including six Premier League titles and a Champions League victory.

Following confirmation that the 55-year-old manager was leaving City rumours have neem circulating regarding the futures of several of the club's key players, with many of them linked with moves away over the summer.

With the transfer window set to officially open on Monday 15 June, there is still plenty of time for City to make efforts to convince their players to stay at the club, particularly after they announce their next manager.

But it appears they could struggle to convince one player in particular as Ruben Dias has reportedly already instructed his agent to explore options for a move away in the near future.

As per Caught Offside, the news has created interest from several of the biggest clubs in Europe with Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid all closely monitoring the situation.

Dias joined City in 2020 and penned a new four-year deal with the club in 2025, seemingly keeping him at the Etihad Stadium until 2029.

He has made 255 appearances in all competitions for City and become a key asset in the back line, with his current market valuation is around €60million (£52m).

Which players could leave Manchester City this summer?

Of all the clubs linked with Dias, Real Madrid are expected to provide the most tempting offer should they officially launch a pursuit of the 29-year-old.

The Spanish giants are believed to be in the market for new centre backs as they look to replace David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger and Dias could be the perfect fit.

But the Portuguese defender isn't the only City star being linked with a move to Real Madrid as both Rodri and Josko Gvardiol are reportedly interested in a move to the Bernabeu.

City are reportedly eager to keep Rodri at the club, rewarding him with a new deal, but the 2024 Ballon d’Or winner is eager to make the move back to his home country.

However, the move could be in doubt as Real Madrid are reluctant to pay the transfer fee required due to his injury record, with a rupture to his anterior cruciate ligament meaning the 29-year-old made just 26 starts in all competitions this season.
