Phil Foden produced a stunning performance as Manchester City came back to win against Everton in the Premier League.
On Wednesday night, freshly crowned champions of the world City travelled to Goodison Park aiming to get their title defence back on track against Sean Dyche's Everton side.
Pep Guardiola’s men had to dig deep after falling behind to a goal by Jack Harrison.

In the second half, goals from Foden, Julian Alvarez and Bernardo Silva sealed a 3-1 victory.
Englishman Foden was named as the player of the match after putting in a brilliant performance.

Aside from his goal, Foden recorded a pass accuracy of 94%, including three key passes, one accurate cross and one accurate long ball.
The midfielder also managed two shots on target before hitting the woodwork in the latter stages.
Defensively, Foden won five ground duels and also one aerial duel.
Speaking after the match, Foden said: “Yeah it’s a very difficult place to come and they’re in form, Everton. They didn’t make it easy.

“But the manager says you don’t get the world champions badge for nothing. We had to pick ourselves up in the second half and I thought we were tremendous.”
Foden continued: “The way we dealt with the game and handled ourselves under pressure at times was tremendous, so we’re delighted with the result.
“When I shot and it went in, we were back into the game and it gave us that push that we needed to go and win the game.”

As a result of their win at Goodison Park, City climbed to fourth place in the Premier League table, five points behind current leaders Liverpool.
City will be back in action this weekend as they welcome Sheffield United to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
