Manchester City fans have been left fuming with one decision Pep Guardiola keeps making after their disappointing defeat against Aston Villa.
On Saturday afternoon, City's dismal form continued at Villa Park as they fell to a defeat against Unai Emery's side.
Goals from Jhon Duran and Morgan Rogers sealed a vital 2-1 win for Villa as they climbed above the reigning champions to fifth in the Premier League table.
During the match, City fans were left baffled by Guardiola's decision to keep midfielder Ilkay Gundogan on the pitch. Phil Foden scored to make it 2-1 in stoppagge time but Villa held on for the victory.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: "Why cant Pep replace Gundogan, he is nowhere defence and attack. Slow to chase back."
Another tweeted: "If Pep continues to play his older players they don’t even look like winning. Walker, Silva & Gundogan just aren’t at the same standard anymore."
A third fan added: "Gundogan & Grealish have contributed zero in this second half. Pep will still keep them on till the end of the match or 70."
Someone else wrote: "IT'S ALL ON PEP.... Gundogan is sleeping in whole game and Pep keep playing him."

A fifth commented: "Already said it, Man City will continue to lose if they keep playing Silva and Gundogan. Pep Guardiola is guilty. Haaland too can take a rest."
Another fan said: "The fact he always starts Gundogan is all you need to know that Pep is crazy now."
Gundogan was eventually replaced in the 73rd minute by winger Savinho.

As a result, City dropped down to sixth place in the Premier League table, nine points behind leaders Liverpool.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, former City goalkeeper Joe Hart was full of praise for Villa star Rogers, who netted the second goal of the match.
He said: "I am loving watching Morgan Rogers play.
"Rogers looks super intelligent, he takes the game by the scruff of the neck. He's not frantically looking for the ball, but he's in the right place.."
