Ilkay Gundogan's wife has made her feelings clear on the Germany midfielder re-joining Manchester City.
Gundogan completed his move back to City from Barcelona on Friday, signing a one-year contract with the option to extend by a further 12 months.
The 33-year-old left the Etihad Stadium on a free transfer last summer after his contract expired, and subsequently signed for Barcelona.

But a year on, the Spanish giants deemed that he was available to leave due to the club's current financial issues, which are preventing them from registering new signing Dani Olmo to play in La Liga.
One person who may not have been too disappointed by Gundogan's initial transfer last year was his wife, Sara Arfaoui.
Although she sent an emotional goodbye message to Manchester upon leaving the city, Arfaoui blasted the city's food scene in October 2022.

Writing on Instagram, she said: "I tried so bad to find a good restaurant but horrible food everywhere. Can't find a real Italian or good sushi or just fresh food... everywhere frozen.
"Restaurants here are focused on making money with drinks and shots like nightclubs, not quality food.
"Maybe in London, but in Manchester nothing. I'm sorry."

Now, Gundogan's wife has reacted to news that the couple will now be moving to back to Manchester for at least the 2024/25 season.
In an Instagram story, she simply wrote: "Back home with the people we love."
That view was echoed by Gundogan himself, who told City's official website: "It feels just so nice to be home.
"I'm really thankful for the welcome, because I'm not normally that type of guy who looks so much into social media ... but I read a little bit and like 99.9 per cent was just amazing and positive.

"They were just all so positive, you know, and it just showed me that this decision is just so right. And it feels also so right, to be honest, that I am. I'm just happy to be here right now."
