Bayern Munich have reportedly entered the race to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold who would be forced to follow a strict car rule if he leaves Liverpool for Bavaria.
Alexander-Arnold’s future has dominated the back pages with the Liverpool vice-captain yet to agree a new contract at Anfield amid interest from Real Madrid.
The Liverpool-born defender has less than six months remaining on his current deal and is permitted to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs, including Madrid.

However, the Spanish giants face competition to sign the England international, according to kicker, from Bayern Munich who are also monitoring his situation though the Bernabeu is described as his most likely destination.
Should he opt to swap the Premier League for the Bundesliga, he would link up with his national team captain Harry Kane who left Spurs for Munich back in 2023 for a fee of £82million.
Alexander-Arnold would also be forced to follow the same strict car rule imposed at the German club owing to their long-standing partnership with Audi.

The German car manufacturers are shareholders in the club and gift each player a new Audi vehicle to drive throughout the season as per The Sun.
Players are allowed to drive their own personal vehicles on their own time but are expected to drive to and from the training ground in their Audi vehicle.
The strict rule must also be followed for home games and other club-related activities. Bentley, Bugatti and Porsche are also acceptable as they form part of the Volkswagen group which owns Audi.
There are consequences if the rule is broken as winger Kingsley Coman discovered back in 2021 when he was reportedly refused entry to the training ground and forced to park on the street after turning up in his Mercedes.

He also used his McLaren and claimed the wing mirror of his Audi was damaged, issuing a full apology for breaking the rule again.
Kane selected a Q8 E-Tron in black worth £58,000 during his first year at the club explaining: "I decided on a family car. Now that I have four children, I just need the space".
This time around, at the Audi HQ in Ingolstadt, Kane opted for a similar pick - going with the SQ8 SUV E-Tron 2 which is an electric vehicle worth over £80,000.
