Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has revealed his Premier League team is the 'Pride of Cheshire' - despite the club not being based there.
Supporters are always fascinated to find out which celebrities have bizarre ties to teams in the Premier League.

Tom Hanks pledged his allegiances to Aston Villa several years ago and Jay-Z follows Arsenal. The list goes on and on.
Few ever challenge celebrities on their knowledge of Premier League teams. They usually say who they support, drop a few player names, and then move on.
The Rock decided to buck the trend, however, with things getting awkward. During a press junket promoting Black Adam in 2022, he was asked which English side he followed.

Rather sheepishly, he replied: "Yeah... You know the one, the Pride of Cheshire!"
When asked if he meant Liverpool, The Rock agreed and called a 1-0 win over Manchester City the previous Sunday a 'good one'.
Liverpool isn't located in Cheshire, it's in Lancashire. We're okay with 'The Brahma Bull' not being up to speed on his Geography. As he'd say in a promo, it doesn't matter where Liverpool is based.

The Rock was recently named on the board of directors of TKO Group, the publicly traded company consisting of WWE and UFC.
He's made a return to WWE television on the Road to WrestleMania, initially setting up a match with WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns.
However, a groundswell of support for 2024 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes to 'Finish the story' has seen plans change.
Rhodes will now face Reigns at WrestleMania XL on April 7 and The Rock 'turned heel' for the first time since 2003 at a press conference eight days ago.

It's believed The Rock will now team up with real-life cousin Reigns against Rhodes and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins over WrestleMania weekend.
