Robbie Fowler says he believes that one player 'is not a Liverpool player' the more he watches him play for Arne Slot's side.
Fowler is on punditry duty on ITV for Liverpool's FA Cup third-round tie against Accrington Stanley.
Manager Slot made several changes from Wednesday's 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup, with Diogo Jota and Wataru Endo among the players coming into the side.
Also returning to the starting XI is Darwin Nunez, who has scored just four goals this season and has come under increasingly speculation in regards to his future.

Liverpool legend Fowler was asked about Nunez's situation pre-match - and gave a damning assessment.
He said: "For me, the more I see him, the more I think he's not a Liverpool player. People might have a go at me for saying that.
"You're not signing a player or bringing a player in because he works hard. You've got to come in and you've got to score goals. I know he's a fan favourite for what he puts in, but you've got to perform better and do better in that Liverpool shirt."
However, Fowler explained that he feels Nunez can still improve - while giving the Uruguayan some key advice about what he needs to do differently

"I don't think he's quick enough in his thought, in terms of his finishing. He's quick across the ground, but his speed of thought has got to be quicker than anything else as a striker.
"I think when he has time to think about it, he sort of struggles. When he instinctively [does it], it's sometimes a little better but we'd still probably want a little bit more. His speed of thought as a striker, in terms of where he should be and how he finishes, it's got to improve."
