Mohamed Salah surprised fans after doing something he rarely did under Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool won their first Premier League fixture of the season.
Arne Slot's first Premier League campaign got off to a great start after Liverpool beat newly-promoted Ipswich Town in their first match of the 2024/25 season.
Portuguese striker Diogo Jota opened the scoring early in the second half, before star man Mohamed Salah doubled the lead and sealed the three points for the visitors.

But there is one thing that Liverpool fans noticed about Salah's performance which is different to most games he played under previous manager Jurgen Klopp.
Once Salah found the back of the net, he immediately ran to the corner of the pitch and excitedly celebrated his goal, something not often seen when playing under Klopp.
One Liverpool fan took to social media to celebrate the goal and point out Salah's actions, writing: "Now we are playing! Wow! Ps. great to see Salah with an actual celebration."

'The Egyptian King' showed his excitement for the goal by mimicking shooting two arrows before jumping into the air, hugging teammates Jota and Luis Diaz and finishing the move off with one more arrow.
Typically, Salah is reserved when adding to his impressive goal tally but it seems that the magnitude of this goal for him and Slot meant that he could not contain his excitement.
And Liverpool fans are certainly a fan of his celebration, with one writing: "Mo salah doing Archer celebrations we are winning the f*****g lot."
While another confessed, "On my 30th rewatch of that Salah celebration."

With Salah also recording the assist for Jota's opening goal, the winger now has an incredible 300 goal involvements in his 350 matches for the Merseyside club.
It also meant that the 32-year-old broke the record for goals scored on the opening weekend of a Premier League season, perhaps explaining his animated celebration.
The goal on Saturday was Salah's ninth in the opening weekend Premier League season, putting him ahead of Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney and Alan Shearer who each scored eight during their careers.
