Mohamed Salah has smashed yet another Premier League record during Liverpool’s match against Ipswich Town at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
Salah, 32, started the game with his side top of the Premier League. Dominik Szoboszlai put the home side ahead just 11 minutes in as Liverpool began to assert their dominance against the struggling away side.
Ten minutes before half time Salah scored his 19th Premier League goal of the season taking his overall tally for the campaign to 23 goals and 17 assists in 31 games.

Cody Gakpo spotted Salah at the back post and the Egyptian made no mistake from close range to double his side’s lead.
Not only has he extended his lead at the top of Premier League goalscoring charts he also went seventh in the all-time list, going above Thierry Henry (175 goals) to an impressive total of 176 goals. The strike was also his 100th Premier League goal at Anfield.

If Liverpool do go on to win the league this season, the Egyptian will no doubt be considered one of the main reasons for their probable triumph.
However, unfortunately for supporters they will still be worried about the uncertainty surrounding the player's future.
Like Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, Salah is set to see his current contract expire in the summer of the 2025 and can negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs now that the January transfer window is open.
