Alexis Mac Allister has revealed Mo Salah forced him to stop a pre-match habit early on in his Liverpool career, despite doing it every game at Brighton.
Mac Allister signed to Liverpool from Brighton in the summer for a reported figure of £35 million and has been a pivotal figure in Jurgen Klopp's midfield this season.
The Argentine cemented himself as one of the League's top midfielders last season with 10 goals for a Brighton side which reached Europe for the first time in their history.

The World Cup winner's attacking output has dropped off since his arrival at Anfield with just three goals this season, but Klopp has deployed the 26-year-old significantly deeper than he has previously played.
In a recent interview with Liverpool, Mac Allister opened up on a pre-match habit he has had to stop due to Salah's disapproval after just 13 games at the club.
The issue revolved around the fashion choices of Mac Allister, who would train and warm up in training pants rather than his match shorts.

In the interview, the midfielder revealed this was a tradition that dated back to his Brighton days.
"When I was at Brighton I used to wear trousers, and then I came here," Mac Allister said.
"I remember against Sheffield United we went out to do the warm-up and I was wearing a hat and trousers and Mo told me 'What are you doing? Why would you wear that?', so since that day I have never worn trousers again. Only because of Mo," The Argentine continued.

Mac Allister's side are currently locked in one of the tightest and most entertaining title races we have seen in the Premier League era, with Liverpool sitting in second place behind Arsenal solely on goal difference.
Having won the 2022 World Cup in Qatar for Argentina, Mac Allister will be desperate to add the Premier League to his collection particularly following Liverpool's FA Cup exit at the hands of Manchester United.
