A forgotten Liverpool player could make a surprise loan move away from the club in January - despite already being away from Anfield until the end of the season.
Arne Slot's side did little incoming business in the summer, with only Federico Chiesa joining the club. Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili also signed for the Reds but will spend the season at Valencia.
Liverpool did, though, sell several of their younger players, with Sepp van den Berg and Fabio Carvalho moving to Brentford and Bobby Clark moving to RB Salzburg.

Joining Clark at Salzburg was Stefan Bajcetic, who made major strides at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp and his assistant Pep Lijnders before suffering a series of injury setbacks that limited him to just three appearances in all competitions last term.
A temporary move to Salzburg, who appointed Lijnders as first team manager in the summer, was expected to give Bajcetic valuable gametime so that the 20-year-old could get his promising career back on track.
The Spaniard has made 18 appearances in all competitions but has frequently found himself outside of the starting XI in recent weeks.

And Lijnders was sacked by Salzburg in December - during the Austrian Bundesliga's mid-season break - with the club 10 points behind leaders Sturm Graz and having lost five of their six Champions League matches.
Now, Spanish outlet Fichajes claim that Real Betis are in talks over a loan move for Bajcetic until the end of the season.
Such an arrangement can only be brokered by Liverpool cancelling the midfielder's contract at Salzburg, though Fichajes claim that Bajcetic is keen on a move back to his home country on a temporary basis.

Betis are managed by the former Manchester City and West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini, and they faced Liverpool in a pre-season friendly back in July.
Fabrizio Romano has since revealed that the La Liga outfit are in 'advanced talks' with the Reds , who are willing to terminate Bajcetic's loan to allow him to move elsewhere.
He would join up with former Liverpool team-mate Adrian, who signed for Betis on a free transfer following the expiry of his Reds contract in the summer.
