Al Nassr are reportedly desperate to sign Virgil van Dijk and make him the highest-paid defender in world football.
The Liverpool captain is approaching the final year of his contract at Anfield but is still going strong at the age of 32, producing a fine individual season in the Premier League and being nominated for the Player of the Season award.
There hasn't been much movement in regards to contract negotiations for Van Dijk but it's claimed he has a lucrative offer from elsewhere.
MARCA say that Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr want to sign the Netherlands skipper.

After Cristiano Ronaldo made a game-changing transfer, Al Nassr have offered big salaries to Van Dijk's former Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane, Alex Telles, Marcelo Brozovic and Aymeric Laporte.
But they are willing to give Van Dijk a pay packet that will eclipse any other defender's earnings in world football.
It's claimed that Al Nassr's general director held a meeting with Van Dijk's agent on Tuesday and proposed the contract offer.
After finishing second to Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, Al Nassr are again on the hunt for a slew of marquee signings in a bid to change their fortune next term.

For now van Dijk's focus will be firmly on the Euro 2024 tournament, starting with the Netherland's opening fixture against Poland in Hamburg on Sunday.
"Difficult team, good players,” Van Dijk said, speaking to UEFA.
“I know for sure there will be plenty of Polish fans there to make things difficult for us. We really need the Dutch fans for that game, but the first group game at the Euros is always difficult.

“We will be working very hard over the coming days and weeks to make sure we are all ready. If you win the first game it’s a big step to the next round but, of course, we have a real fight ahead of us.”
