Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed the full details of Liverpool's second offer for Romeo Lavia.
Jurgen Klopp has already signed midfield duo Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai this summer for a combined fee of £95 million.
However, the Reds boss is in need of further reinforcements following the departure of club captain Jordan Henderson, who signed for Saudi Pro League side El Attifaq on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner, Naby Keita and Arthur Melo have all left Anfield following the expiration of their contracts.
In turn, Klopp has turned his attention to Southampton midfielder Lavia, who impressed on the south coast last season despite the club's relegation to the Championship.

Liverpool had an initial bid worth £37 million rejected by Southampton but they are set to return with an improved offer, according to Romano.
The Italian tweeted: "Liverpool and Southampton, in contact to discuss Roméo Lavia deal again today.
"New bid expected to be around £42.5m plus £2.5m add ons fee — as reported on Wednesday.
"Southampton insist on £50m package but details of the deal/payment terms and more being discussed."

Meanwhile, Southampton manager Russel Martin has grown impatient with speculation, claiming Lavia 'has a lot in his head' due to the rumours.
Speaking after Saints' 3-2 pre-season defeat to Bournemouth on Tuesday, Martin told reporters: "I thought Romeo, considering what's going on, to play tonight and do all that stuff, it was good for him to get on the pitch as he has not had the minutes other people have had.
"You can ask for an update, but I can't give you one because I don't know. I'm going to speak to Jason [Wilcox, director of football] now but I've been preparing for this game. I'll only ever be honest with you guys but I’m yet to find out.
"Romeo has a lot in his head."

Martin added: "[I am] pleased with his attitude, easiest thing to do would be to not play tonight. Not easy for a young player to handle the noise, but he's handled it well. Latest news is very public, he may still be here he may not."
