Liverpool have a player in their ranks who is worth 50 times more than they initially paid in 2022 – and he is attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs.
Earlier this month, the Reds rejected bids from Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace for teenager winger Ben Doak, who is currently on a season-long loan at Championship side Middlesbrough.
The 19-year-old Scotland international has been one of Boro's standout performers this season under Michael Carrick, featuring in 22 out of a possible 27 league games.

Crystal Palace are said to have submitted an offer worth £16 million for Doak, while Ipswich approached Liverpool with a bid of £15 million – both of which fell short of Liverpool's valuation.
In fact, the Reds believe he is worth closer to £30 million, according to a report from The Times, who suggest figures at Anfield believe he can 'come back in the future and fight for a regular place'.
Doak, who joined Liverpool from Celtic in 2022 for a reported £600,000, is clearly well thought of at Liverpool.

Just a year after penning his first professional contract, Doak penned a long-term deal with the Reds after making six senior appearances under Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp was full of praise for the teenager. "Special boy. Really confident," said the German. "He has something nobody else delivers really, this kind of dribbling, this kind of straight-forward bravery, all these kind of things."
Earlier this month, Carrick was asked if Doak wants to stay at Middlesbrough.
"It's difficult for me to answer that. It certainly suits him in many ways," he said.

"There's no denying some of it is out of our hands, but I'm really calm and content. Hopefully it plays out and we're all happy and we still have Ben. We're in a good place and it's a good place for him."
Carrick added: "He's absolutely fine, no problem, no difference. He just gets on with his work as he has from day one. It suits him here. It's a good place to be, he's enjoying his football, he's learning, developing, having a great experience. I've got nothing but positive things to say about Ben."
