Liverpool have been dealt a huge injury blow ahead of their Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday.
Arne Slot's side currently sit top of the table having won seven of their opening eight fixtures in the Premier League this season with the one defeat coming in a shock loss to Nottingham Forest.
Slot is facing his most difficult period since replacing Jurgen Klopp with huge games on the horizon against the likes of Real Madrid and Man City.

The biggest test of the season so far takes place at Sunday when Liverpool travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal and their job has been made more difficult with Slot confirming a major injury blow.
Liverpool already knew they would be without first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker and Harvey Elliott with summer signing Federico Chiesa also a major doubt.
Slot has now confirmed that Diogo Jota would also be unavailable after the Portugal international suffered an injury during the 2-1 win against Chelsea at Anfield last Sunday.

Jota was substituted after 30 minutes and missed the 1-0 win against RB Leipzig in the Champions League.
Liverpool are also sweating on the fitness of right-back Conor Bradley who didn't travel to Germany.
Slot said: "I think they feel good but not for the weekend, Chiesa might train today, Diogo not, Conor, let's see if he can be with us tomorrow."

Darwin Nunez looks set to start in place of Jota and the Uruguayan has impressed in his last two appearances, scoring the only goal of the game against Leipzig.
Liverpool fans have been eager to see Chiesa in action following his summer move from Juventus but Slot admitted the Italian has struggled to adapt to the rigours of the Premier League after missing the entirety of pre-season.
Arsenal have injury concerns of their own with Martin Odegaard confirmed to be unavailable.
Key defender William Saliba will also be forced to watch from the sidelines after he was given straight red card in the defeat to Bournemouth.
