The details regarding Giorgi Mamardashvili's Liverpool contract has re-emerged following the injury to Alisson.
Liverpool were quiet during the summer transfer window as Arne Slot only signed two players, with one of them being Mamardashvili.
The Reds made the acquisition of Mamardashvili, who joined the Anfield club from Valencia in a transfer worth £29 million.
However, he will officially move to his new team next year, staying at Valencia until the end of the season.

In wake of Alisson's injury, there is no clause in the agreement which will allow Liverpool to take the Georgian goalkeeper in the January transfer window, according to a report.
Mamardashvili has played seven games for Valencia this season.
As for his future club colleague, Alisson was forced off with a suspected hamstring injury in his side's 1-0 win over Palace on Saturday.

Vítezslav Jaros replaced the Brazilian to make his Liverpool debut, with Caoimhin Kelleher absent through illness.
If the injury to Alisson is serious, then Slot will be hoping to call upon Kelleher, who is the club's usual back-up keeper.
The Ireland international has played two games this season, having made 26 appearances across all competitions last season.
But if Kelleher remains on the sidelines, then the Dutch boss will be forced to play Jaros, who kept a clean sheet upon entering the fray.

Liverpool, meanwhile, beat Palace to maintain their impressive start to the new season.
They have now won six of their opening seven league games.
The victory, though, appears to have come at a price following the injury to Alisson.
