Jurgen Klopp has made a kind offer to Sven-Goran Eriksson after the Swede’s cancer diagnosis.
Earlier in the month, former England boss Eriksson revealed he has terminal cancer and has ‘maybe at best a year’ to live.
He said: “Everyone understands that I have an illness that is not good. Everyone guesses it's cancer, and it is.

“But I have to fight as long as I can.”
Eriksson has also stated that he is a Liverpool fan and dreamed of managing the Anfield club.
Since then, fans have called on Liverpool to invite Eriksson to manage the Anfield club’s legends match against Ajax.

Responding to the fans’ rally, Eriksson said he would accept if he was offered the chance to manage the Liverpool legends.
Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League clash against Bournemouth, current Reds boss Klopp was asked about Eriksson.
The German replied: “I don’t know him, unfortunately not. I know him without knowing him, we never met.
“Yes, it was obviously very touching news when you heard about it. I heard for the first time about his admiration or love for Liverpool and that he was a fan for his whole life.

“So, I heard now about the legends match and stuff like that. I’m not in charge of that so I can’t say anything about that.”
Klopp added: “The only thing I can say is absolutely he’s very welcome to come here and he can sit in my seat in my office and do my job for a day if he wants. That’s no problem.
“Being on the sideline might be a little bit more difficult. o have him here and show him everything and how this wonderful club developed over the years, I think that’s definitely something we will tell him.

“He can come over and have a few wonderful hours here, I’m sure.”
