Jurgen Klopp snapped at Marcus Buckland after he made a joke following Liverpool's win over Sheffield United on Wednesday.
Liverpool beat Sheff United 2-0 at Bramall Lane to close the gap on league leaders Arsenal by two points.
Virgil van Dijk opened the scoring in the first-half after Trent Alexander-Arnold picked him out from a corner-kick, despite suffering from a wardrobe malfunction.

Darwin Nunez produced a moment of brilliance to set up Dominik Szoboszlai for Liverpool's second goal deep, deep into stoppage time.
It's a big win for Liverpool as they mount a charge for the Premier League title.
They resume their league campaign on Saturday when they face Crystal Palace at 12:30pm (UK time).

Amazon Prime presenter Buckland made a joke about that specific kick-off time being Klopp's favourite.
The joke didn't go down well with the German, who snapped and fired back.

"It's really great to make a joke about that," he sarcastically replied.

Buckland then backtracked and said he wasn't trying to be disrespectful to which the Liverpool boss replied: "You were already..."
He added: "That's really brave to make a joke about that. We will go to bed at 1am-2am tonight. We have two sessions and then we go again.
"I realise you don't understand it (significance of early KO) as well and you work in football so why should I explain it again."
Of course, Klopp has previously complained about his side playing at 12:30pm on Saturday's following international breaks.

His team will return to action at lunchtime as they prepare for another game on the road.
Liverpool could climb to the top of the league for a few hours if they secure a victory at Selhurst Park.
