Jamie Carragher has been accused of asking a disrespectful question to Mohamed Salah after Liverpool’s win against Newcastle United.
On Monday night, Liverpool went three points clear at the top of the Premier League after a 4-2 victory over the Magpies.
A brace from Salah plus goals from Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo were enough to get the job done for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Salah produced a brilliant performance to earn himself the Player of the Match award.
However, Liverpool fans will now be left worried as Salah is set to jet off to play in the Africa Cup of Nations later this month.
The Egyptian could miss a string of fixtures for Liverpool including potential Premier League clashes against Chelsea and Arsenal.

During the post-match interview, Carragher was accused of asking a disrespectful question to Salah.
The former Liverpool defender said: “Mo, you’re now leaving Liverpool for the Africa Cup of Nations. As a Liverpool supporter, how strong is your group and how quick are you going to be coming back?”
Salah laughed before replying: “I want to win this competition. I would love to win it. Without me they will be fine. We have fantastic players. Anyone can play in my position. Anyone can do what I am doing.”
Whilst it was meant as a joke, some fans were left unimpressed with Carragher's question.

Another tweeted: “And there’s the disrespectful question from Carragher “How quickly can you get KO’d from AFCON? As if it’s not a National tournament!”
A third fan added: “Why would Carragher even ask that question to Salah?? So disrespectful.”
Someone else wrote: “That's so disrespectful from Carragher lol.”
