Jamie Carragher has shared his honest thoughts on Liverpool smashing their club record transfer to sign Moises Caicedo.
Liverpool have agreed a British-record transfer fee with Brighton for Caicedo, who is set to travel to Merseyside on Friday to undergo a medical.
The fee is understood to be worth a whopping £110 million, with the star midfielder also attracting interest from Chelsea.
The deal to bring the 21-year-old to Anfield comes after the club have offloaded the likes of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, who both left England for Saudi Arabia.

Jurgen Klopp finally gets his man, with the German boss also snapping up Alexis Mac Allister for £35 million this summer.
And Carragher has hailed Liverpool's signings this summer as 'great business' as he made reference to their new recruits and departures.
"110M is a big price for #Caicedo but Liverpool had to pay big as clubs knew they were desperate," he tweeted.
"But signing two top young players for 145M & selling two of your older players for 52M is great business!"

Caicedo joined Brighton in February 2021 and enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last season as he starred for the Seagulls.
He made 37 Premier League appearances and scored one goal, winning the club's Player of the Season and the Player's Player of the Season awards.
Caicedo will be Liverpool's third signing of the summer following the additions of the aforementioned Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, who cost £60 million from RB Leipzig.
