Liverpool have joined the race to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala, according to reports in Germany.
The Reds underwent a major midfield rebuild over the summer, with Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all leaving the club.
In turn, Jurgen Klopp signed Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch.

But the Merseysiders might not be finished there and have identified Musiala as a potential addition at Anfield.
That's according to German publication BILD, who claim that Liverpool have had the 20-year-old "on their list for a long time!"
The report adds that Real Madrid are also likely to be among the clubs interested, having previously beaten Liverpool to the likes of Aurélien Tchouaméni and Jude Bellingham.

Musiala is under contract at Bayern until 2026, with the Bundesliga side keen to tie him down to fresh terms.
However, the German international has had to balance his game time with Thomas Muller this season.
The situation has reportedly become a "problem" after Musiala was promised he would "become the face of the club" moving forward, leaving the door ajar for the likes of Liverpool.
The Mirror also claim that Liverpool were interested in signing the midfielder's club teammate Leroy Sane, and have identified the winger as their "top target" in the event that Mohamed Salah leaves for the riches of Saudi Arabia next year.

The 27-year-old has scored seven goals in 11 appearances for Thomas Tuchel's side this season, with Liverpool allegedly prepared to break their club transfer record in order to land the player.
Speaking in an interview in 2018, Sane admitted that he was talking to Klopp ahead of his transfer to Manchester City.
"Yes, I was also talking with them," he said.
"Jurgen was calling me too, talking to me. That was before I joined City. He did a good job at [Borussia] Dortmund - I met him when he was there. He’s a good guy, nice guy - honest. He [has] worked well with Liverpool."
