New footage of Liverpool's latest signing Hugo Ekitike in his first training sessions have appeared online, and it's got fans talking.
Despite regular links with Newcastle United, highly-rated striker Ekitike decided to join Liverpool this summer, penning a six-year deal with the Premier League champions.
The 23-year-old joined from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, who reportedly received an upfront fee of £69million for their star player, with another £10m available if he meets various add-ons.
With Darwin Nunez heavily rumoured to leave the Reds this summer, Liverpool fans have been eager to see their new striker in action ahead of their Premier League opener against Bournemouth on less than three weeks.

As soon as his move to Liverpool was completed, Ekitike left Frankfurt to join his new teammates for their pre-season camp in Japan.
In the latest video clips showing Liverpool's training sessions in Japan, the Frenchman stood out to fans after clips showed him scoring three goals assisted by Harvey Elliott, Dominik Szoboszlai and Mo Salah.

However, Ekitike's spot in Liverpool's starting lineup does not appear to be completely secure, as the Reds appear to be preparing to make a world-record bid for Newcastle's Alexander Isak.
