Three things will 'definitely happen' if Elon Musk completes a stunning takeover of Liverpool after it was claimed the world's richest man would be interested in purchasing the Reds.
Musk, who has an estimated net worth of £339 billion, is said to be interested in acquiring Liverpool, who are not for sale and their owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) have not received any official approaches.
That's according to his father, Errol, who claimed his son would be keen on buying Liverpool, although no offers have been tabled.

Asked if his son would want to purchase the Premier League giant, he told Times Radio: "I can't comment on that. They'll raise the price."
When pushed for an answer, he replied: "Oh, yes. But that doesn't mean he's buying it.
"He would like to yes, obviously. Anybody would want to - so would I."
Liverpool were valued at a whopping £4.3 billion last May.

However, that amounts to just over one per cent of Musk's total net worth.
If FSG sold the club to the South African billionaire, then here's three things that would 'definitely happen' if the takeover was completed.
A Liverpool spending spree
Naturally, with Musk's staggering net worth, Liverpool could be handed an enormous transfer kitty to recruit new players.

Liverpool have been unable to compete with Chelsea, under the Roman Abramovich era, and Manchester City, who have been financially backed by Sheikh Mansour, in the transfer market over the years.
But with Musk in charge, he would blow every club out of the waters when it comes to transfer fees.
New contracts for Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah
With such financial muscle, Musk could feasibly give whatever Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah desire to remain at Anfield.

The money side of the contracts wouldn't be a problem.
The Liverpool trio are all out of contract at the end of the season as Musk boasts the financial firepower to hold onto the stars.
Innovative way of developing the Kop
Developing the iconic Kop at Anfield would likely be on his list of things to do as Liverpool owner.

It's the last remaining stand that needs attention following the redevelopment of the Main Stand and the Anfield Road End.
Speaking ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan told This Is Anfield that there are no further expansions expected amid 'challenges', seemingly referencing the housing situation.
But Musk could purchase every home if he wanted to expand the Kop.
Alternatively, he could just renovate the Kop without expanding the capacity.
