The numbers behind games involving referee David Coote and Liverpool have emerged after a fake claim about Rodri's handball against Everton was widely shared online.
The PGMOL – the body responsible for Premier League officials – launched an investigation on Monday after a video which claims to show Coote making derogatory remarks about Liverpool and their former manager Jurgen Klopp was posted to social media.
In the clip, a man who resembles Coote can be seen calling Liverpool "s**t" before describing Klopp as "f***ing arrogant" and a "c***".

It has since been confirmed that the 42-year-old has been suspended by the PGMOL pending a full investigation.
Coote, meanwhile, is understood to have accepted that the viral video is genuine, according to The Mirror, but the referee has stressed that he 'does not recall the content of the discussion', which is said to be from several years ago.
After the video emerged, Coote was accused of being involved in several incidents, including a handball by Rodri in February 2022 which would have given Everton a late chance of a penalty.

However, those accusations are false as Paul Tierney was the match official at Goodison Park, with Chris Kavanagh being on VAR duty for that fixture between Manchester City and Everton.
In total, Coote has refereed eight Liverpool games in all competitions since 2020, according to Transfermarkt, with the Reds winning five of those fixtures [against Aston Villa, Brighton, Fulham, Shrewsbury and Preston].
Liverpool have suffered defeat on two occasions when Coote has been in charge, with both fixtures being in the fourth round of a cup tie.
They suffered a 3-2 defeat to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup in December 2022 and then in January 2023, they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Brighton. The draw was a Premier League clash against Burnley in 2020.

Here is a full breakdown of his balance sheet.
In regards to the previously mentioned video, Coote is yet to issue a public statement responding to the allegations against him. Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are also yet to comment.
PGMOL confirmed in a statement that it would be making no further comment on the matter until its investigation is complete.
