Liverpool players' gesture to Darwin Nunez after his brace away at Brentford has been revealed and it speaks volumes.
The Uruguayan striker has struggled immensely for Arne Slot's men this season and prior to the trip to the Gtech Community Stadium, he had found the net just twice in the Premier League.
But Nunez notched the same amount of goals in a two-minute period on Saturday after coming off the bench to win the game for the Reds.
He broke the deadlock in the 91st minute with a fine finish from a Trent Alexander-Arnold cross, before producing another superb strike to seal the victory moments after.

Nunez wheeled away in euphoria on both occasions, with it clear just how much the goals meant to him after his difficulties in front of goal.
And the former Benfica star also received plenty of support from his teammates. After the full-time whistle, James Pearce of The Athletic revealed what goalkeeper Alisson did to Nunez following his heroics.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, he wrote: "Darwin Nunez has just been lifted off his feet by Alisson. His team-mates absolutely buzzing for him after such a difficult run."
In addition, a video shared on social media also showed Nunez being embraced by his colleagues.
Captain Virgil van Dijk also showered his teammate with praise after his double, telling the media: "You have to earn these things and as a striker you get judged on goals. Today he put his mark on the game with the two goals. That’s what we need – we need everyone at their best, contributing to success, and today it was his day.”

Nunez has received criticism aplenty in recent times after being wasteful in front of goal, with there being a number of rumours claiming that there is interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.
One report even stated that Liverpool had turned down a bid for the ex Almeria man.
Slot throws his support behind Nunez
Though Nunez has frustrated Liverpool fans with his lack of form in front of goal, Slot leapt to the 25-year-old's defence in his pre-Brentford press conference and said that he is a "striker we have to use in a certain way".

He also admitted that Liverpool have failed to get the best out of him so far this season.
He explained: “If you look back at the goals he scored for us, I remember the one against Aston Villa when he went around the goalkeeper on a fast break, that is his main strength – he has other qualities as well – but we are still working on getting him in the best possible positions against a low block.
“That involves the right timings, the right crosses, the right position to start from and making the right run. But I also see, and I don’t know if other people see this, the way teams defend our No 9 is something you have to give credit to the other teams for."
