Curtis Jones has had his say on the debate involving Mo Salah and Eden Hazard, giving his take to Rio Ferdinand for a feature on TNT Sports.
The two Premier League legends were teammates for a brief period at Chelsea and have regularly been compared to one another.
And ahead of Liverpool's trip to Hazard's former club Lille, Jones weighed in during a recent interview for the 'Between the Lines' feature.

Jones, who has amassed over 100 appearances for Liverpool at the age of 23, admitted that when he was growing up, Hazard was the player he used to watch and study - loving the carefree and relaxed style he had on the pitch.
Though his big move to Real Madrid was a huge disappointment, Hazard lit up the Premier League for seven seasons and was a joy to watch.
Jones enjoyed seeing the two-time Premier League winner strut his stuff so much that he believes he is a better player than his Liverpool teammate Salah - even revealing he has had talks with the Egyptian about it.

But he did state that Salah, with an incredible 175 goals and 82 assists in the Premier League, would be the choice to go into a team because of his numbers.
“My one and I know this might go a little bit left with our fans because the comparison is always there, but [Eden] Hazard,” Jones said in an honest admission.
“Hazard is the one, I know we compare with Mo all the time, and I’ve been into it with Mo.
“As a player from who I’ve seen as a kid, when I loved and was studying the game and I wanted to be like a player, I feel like it was Hazard.

“He was the one who every game I’d watch him I was just like, ‘Wow, that’s football’.”
"I wouldn't say he's disrespected, but he might not come into certain [conversations] that he should.
"It's a talk I've had with Mo and all the lads. As a footballer, is he better than Mo? In my opinion, yes. But who would you rather have in your team? They're going to say Mo because he gets you your goals and assists."

After receiving backlash from Liverpool fans, Jones responded by sharing a picture of him and Salah - confirming where his true allegiance lies by captioning his post on X: "The one I'd rather have in my team.".
Hazard has given his opinion on the debate
Hazard himself was asked the burning question by SPORTbible back in September and did not hesitate in the slightest.
Asked who is better, the Belgian replied: "Mo Salah, by far.”

The former Belgium international was then asked if he is surprised to see the level Salah has reached after failing to produce in his first spell in English football.
Hazard responded: “He was good already, you know, but that good? We played when he was playing in Basel. So we played Champions League the year before and then we were like, ‘Wow’.
“And then we bought him like, ‘Yeah, we have to. We have to buy this guy because this guy is so good’.
“And then, you know, in football you have ups and downs and then what he did with Liverpool is like, ‘Wow’.”
