Odds on favourite for the Liverpool job, Arne Slot, founded an unusual business alongside his brother after he retired from professional football.
Slot, who won the Eredivisie with Feyenoord last season has been massively tipped to take over from Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season.
It has been far from the 'quadruple ending' many were hoping for at the club. Defeat to Atalanta in Europe, Manchester United in the FA Cup, and Everton in the Premier League has left them staring down the barrel of a one-trophy season which promised so much more.
Slot himself has confirmed his desire to leave his current role and revealed the current situation between Liverpool and Feyenoord regarding negotiations.

“I’d like to become the new Liverpool manager, my decision is clear. Feyenoord and Liverpool are in talks to negotiate, I’m waiting to see what will come out of it," Slot explained via Fabrizio Romano.
Slot has had a rather unusual journey into management and explored multiple potential career paths before landing his first managerial role with Cambuur in 2016.
After retiring from playing in 2013, Slot considered further education but instead launched a business with his brother Jakko, selling captain's armbands.
Alongside this venture, he also continued in the footballing world as a youth coach at PEC Zwolle, where his interest in coaching began to develop further.

In his younger years, Slot would often accompany his father, Arend, a school teacher and amateur team coach to his games. Listening to his father's instructions since the age of five in the changing rooms provided Slot with valuable insights into coaching methods and team management he would take into his professional career.
Slot's style of football is very much focused on the press, which will hopefully allow for a smooth transition from Klopp, who has used a similar style in his nine seasons at the club.
The Dutchmen has demonstrated he is extremely capable as a coach, but the step up to Liverpool is likely to be a big challenge.
