The odds on Arne Slot replacing Jurgen Klopp have been slashed, and the Dutchman has already made his feelings clear on a potential move to Liverpool.

Back in January Klopp made the surprise announcement that he will step down from his position, and since then plenty of top coaches have been linked with the vacancy.

Xabi Alonso was the firm favourite to replace Klopp, but the former Liverpool star committed his future to current side Bayer Leverkusen.
Since then Ruben Amorim has heavily linked with the role, although earlier this month the Sporting CP boss was forced to deny reports he had agreed a deal with the Premier League side.

The 45-year-old guided Feyenoord to the 2022 Europa Conference League final in his first season in charge, before winning the Eredivisie in 2022-23 and the Dutch Cup this season.
The odds on him replacing Klopp have been slashed to 4/1, making him the second favourite for the position after Amorim.
And going off his previous comments, the Dutchman would be up for the job if approached by Liverpool.
"My next step will not be a club in Holland," he said last year, via Sky Sports.

"If that is my next step, then I've failed completely. The normal next step will be to go abroad and I've always said the best league in the world is the Premier League."
Last year Slot was linked with both Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur, before he ended up penning a new deal with Feyenoord.
When asked earlier this year about the possibility of replacing Klopp, Slot said, via Voetbal Primeur: "What answer can I give that there will be no headlines about it? So next question.

"I think it is incredibly impressive that [Klopp] has been so good at that level for so long, with so much energy for nine years. "I see it as a special achievement that you can maintain that level for nine years with so much dedication and passion. Especially when you consider how many games we play. Let alone how many they play in England."
Jose Mourinho has emerged as a surprise rival for the Liverpool job, while the likes of Wolves boss Gary O'Neil, outgoing Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel and Brentford manager Thomas Frank have also been linked.
