Liverpool have found out how long they will be without first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker for.
Last Saturday, Arne Slot’s men continued their fine start to the 24/25 season as they recorded a hard-fought win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Diogo Jota’s goal in the first half was enough to seal a 1-0 win and maintain the Reds’ top spot in the Premier League table.
However, the victory was marred after goalkeeper Alisson was forced off with what looked like a hamstring injury towards the closing stages of the match.

Liverpool have since been left sweating over the severity of the Brazilian’s injury ahead of a crucial period for the club.
On Wednesday morning, it was reported by The Times’ Paul Joyce that Alisson is set to miss at least seven matches
He wrote on social media: “Alisson sidelined with hamstring injury until after November’s international break. Big blow for Liverpool.”

Alisson is set to miss crucial fixtures against Chelsea, RB Leipzig, Arsenal, Brighton, Bayer Leverkusen and Aston Villa.
The 32-year-old could potentially return for Liverpool’s Premier League match against Southampton on November 24 and more importantly, their Champions League clash against Real Madrid on November 27. But that is not set in stone.
Alisson’s fitness has been a concern for Liverpool having missed 10 matches last season in the Premier League due to injury and illness.
On the back of the latest development, Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is set to get an extended run in the team, having wanted to leave Anfield during the summer transfer window.

Vitezslav Jaros, 23, who replaced Alisson at Selhurst Park, is set to become Liverpool’s second-choice goalkeeper for the next month or so.
In the summer, Liverpool completed the signing of Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili but the Georgian will only move to Merseyside next summer.
