Jurgen Klopp could repeat his Georginio Wijnaldum trick as he looks to solve his defensive midfield issue.
After the likes of Fabinho, James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain all left Anfield this summer, Liverpool were in need of new faces in that department.
As a result, Liverpool brought in four new midfielders in Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch.
However, fans have been left worried that they could be light on defensive midfielders.

But Klopp could now solve that problem with Gravenberch.
Before Gravenberch arrived to the club, Klopp had his own Dutch mifield maestro in his squad, and that man was Wijnaldum.
The former Newcastle man has all the attributes to impact a match both defensively and offensively.
Although he was used more as a number eight, Klopp would sometimes deploy Wijnaldum in a more defensive, number six role.

Klopp can now do the same with Gravenberch as he bids to solve his defensive midfield issue.
Gravenberch is best known for his attacking skills but his size allows Klopp to mould him into a hybrid number six/number eight midfielder.
Speaking after Gravenberch signed for the club, Klopp said: “He is super-talented, he can drive the ball, he can be really a box-to-box threat, he is going there.”

Upon signing for the club, Gravenberch said: “If you see it from the outside, it's one of the biggest clubs in the world. Also the fans, the stadium, I think everything from the outside is top. So that's why.
“My strengths? I think I'm a good dribbler, I'm a technical player. Also a box-to-box player. I also have a good shot.”
He added: “I spoke a lot with my parents about this move. They were just wishing also for Liverpool, you know. That was a good thing.”
